PSA graded Pokémon cards

Graded Pokémon cards have been assessed and sealed in a tamper-evident case by a grading company. PSA grades on a 1–10 scale: PSA 10 (Gem Mint) is a virtually perfect card, PSA 9 is Mint and PSA 8 is Near Mint–Mint. Because a grade takes the guesswork out of condition, graded cards — especially PSA 10s — usually sell for a significant premium over raw copies.
